CAREER DEVELOPMENT EVENTS (CDE)
CDE'S ARE EVENTS WHERE YOU COMPETE USING KNOWLEDGE YOU LEARN THROUGH PRACTICE. you attend field days to compete with your team.

SOME CHAPTER EVENTS INCLUDE: OUR MONTHLY FFA MEETINGS, OUR AG BOOSTER DINNERS, THE BIG BREAKFAST, THE HUGHSON FRUIT AND NUT FESTIVAL, AND THE ANNUAL PLANT SALE!

COMMUNITY SERVICE HAS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN HUGHSON FFA. WE BELIEVE THAT WE SHOULD GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY THAT SO WILLINGLY GIVES TO US!
STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR
THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO EXHIBIT SOMETHING AT FAIR. THERE IS LIVESTOCK (SMALL AND LARGE ANIMALS), HORTICULTURE, MECHANICS, CULINARY ARTS, FLORICULTURE, HOME ARTS, LITERARY ARTS, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND MANY OTHERs!
proficiencies
Proficiencies are awards to recognize students who have dedicated time, effort, and money towards their sae project. your sae can be placed under various award areas.
public speaking
public speaking allows students to develop their leadership skills through personal experience. SOme of the public speaking events include the creed recitation, job interview, impromptu, and more!
sectional events
hughson ffa is a part of the tri-rivers ffa section. Some events our section puts on include the day of service, ice skating event, and the volleyball tournament.
OTHER VARIOUS events
HUGHSON FFA ALSO HELPS at OR ATTENDS OTHER EVENTS THAT DON'T FALL UNDER ANY OF THE OTHER CATEGORIES. SOME INCLUDE THE MJC SENIOR DAY, THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CRAB FEED, AND THE TULARE WORLD FARM EXPO.
